Inception42, an Abu Dhabi technology company owned by G42, has deployed Insight, an AI-powered boardroom intelligence platform already in use across UAE government entities and more than 30 organisations. Chief executive Ashish Koshy disclosed the deployment at the AI Everything Abu Dhabi summit on Tuesday, where the platform was unveiled to the public. Koshy stated that Insight is not a pilot or prototype but an operational system serving boards at the highest levels of Emirati government and business.

Platform connects organisational data to support executive meetings#

Insight pulls from internal files and prior meeting records to equip executives with background material before and during discussions. The system links data from product, technology and finance teams that would otherwise remain separated across departments. Following each meeting, the platform produces minutes and extracts action items for follow-up. Koshy told AGBI that Insight's reliance on a company's accumulated records to inform choices sets it apart from competing AI meeting products.

Voice tool accesses files and identifies contradictory claims#

The platform's voice assistant fetches internal files from a company's stored records when asked aloud. It can detect when statements made during meetings contradict what the organisation has on record. Insight can take on roles including lawyer, risk officer or AI leader to test executive assumptions from different perspectives. The platform is available in Arabic and English and integrates with Microsoft 365. The US technology group is an investor in G42.

Inception42 signs deals with Capgemini and McKinsey at launch#

Koshy disclosed that Inception42 had signed deals with consulting groups Capgemini and McKinsey at the AI Everything Abu Dhabi conference. His team held discussions with dozens of prospective customers on launch day. Board Intelligence's 2025 Board Value Index for the Middle East found that over 40 percent of directors named poor information quality as the main obstacle to board-level decisions. Koshy compared the platform to road-navigation apps, stating that Insight helps executives weigh options like a driver would assess a route by showing the terrain, traffic and different routes before taking an informed decision.
